Hello and welcome to my little website.

I am  kim gallimore  the creator of a bear by kim, i make one of a kind artist bears, all  from my own patterns,using the best quality materials i can find.

I have been making bears since january 2006  and in that time i am proud to have had various magazine features and won a few  awards.

My bear making time is currently limited as i am first and foremost a full time mum to my 3 daughters, katie,who is 7, evie 5 and phoebe who is just 2.

For the last few years i have attended the stratford teddy bear artisit event and this year in nov i will also be attending the great yorkshire teddy bear event.

my 1st year in stratford earned me a 1st place award and organisers choice award.my 2nd year earned me a 3rd place and this year i was overjoyed to win an award in each catagory, 2 1sts a 2nd and a 3rd , it means so much more being a public vote and i am eternaly greatful. 

I have also been lucky enough to make some great friends along the way, incl other artists and collectors alike.

I am so greatful to everyone who adopts one of my bears as its the current bear which funds the next and even though they travel the world, each one always has a special place and memory in my heart and they are never forgotten.
